In short, it is regular, routine maintenance to help keep equipment up and running smoothly.
Our Preventative Maintenance Software allows you to keep a record for any equipment you own that you wish to track.
It lets you schedule maintenance tasks based on either Elapsed Days or Elapsed Meter Readings such as Mileage or Hours of Use.
Preventive Maintenance Management can be very complex, especially for companies with a lot of equipment and those with equipment whose regular maintenance is regulated and audited. For this reason, many companies rely on preventive maintenance software to help organize and carry out all their preventive maintenance needs.
When our Warehouse Management System issues that an event is due, it is possible that the event may have to be delayed. In other words, the event may not be able to be dealt with immediately.
Previously, if that were to occur, our ERP WMS system would not retain the original date that the event was triggered. However, this information was deemed very relevant during audits if a machine or equipment happened to fail inspection, so we enhanced our Warehouse Management System to support these needs.
It is important to know that a Preventative Maintenance Task was scheduled for Monday, for instance, but was not actually performed until the following week. Our WMS system now keeps track of this along with all other details entered by the operator of the WMS software.
Our ERP system now automatically retains the original event date if it is not dealt with. Auditors can then use this information to determine if equipment failure or malfunction may have been due to neglect or failure to comply with the events triggered by our Preventative Maintenance System. This enhancement had been requested by an SQF auditor and it now available for all to use.
Preventative maintenance in our Manufacturing ERP Software has now been made easier with our RF PM scanning process. Each PM event has now been assigned a barcode, which can be scanned on a printout while the PM event is being performed. This will in turn, allow you to follow prompts to complete each action associated with the PM event, and record any values/information as necessary.
In addition, asset and component specific barcode labels are currently being developed to attach to your assets/equipment to further enhance the scanning process.
Once all actions have been completed and all information pertaining to the event recorded, simply complete the event in real-time with the scan gun.
